I have submitted the following bill draft requests for the upcoming session:

 

SB53

Prohibits performing group from using name of another group to create false, deceptive or misleading affiliation, connection or association with that other group. (By Request)

SB58

Provides for imposition of administrative assessment for certain traffic violations to be used to support emergency medical services and services for treatment of trauma.

34--222

Provides that student of Nevada System of Higher Education must be bona fide resident of Nevada and legally present in the United States to be eligible for certain types of financial assistance, benefits or waivers offered or funded by the State for higher education.

SB6

Includes marijuana in the provision which prohibits persons from intentionally allowing children to be present at certain locations where certain crimes involving controlled substances are committed.

SB173

Provides that expenditure of any money received by the State or its agencies for projects or programs relating to potential acts of terrorism must be approved by the Nevada Commission on Homeland Security.

SCR4

Provides for a legislative study concerning guardianships for adults. (By Request)

SB231

Protects the confidentiality of all contents of a prescription and prohibits disclosure of such contents for unauthorized purposes.

54-540

Makes various changes regarding the licensure of certain health care professionals

SB9

Provides that the provisions related to obtaining the informed consent of patients apply to osteopathic physicians

SB59

Makes various changes relating to the State Plan for Medicaid.

SB174

Provides that an expression of regret or apology made by or on behalf of a health care provider is inadmissible in any civil or administrative proceeding against the provider.

SB223

Revises and repeals certain taxes on businesses

SB171

Creates the Nevada Academy of Health.

SB227

Clarifies authority of Nevada State Funeral Board to take disciplinary action for certain unprofessional conduct.

SB228

Enacts various provisions concerning the peer review process of certain medical review committees.
